Latest Updates from Our Project:

Over 3K! Everyone gets Lion Bucks! And a snipe!
about 7 years ago – Wed, May 03, 2017 at 03:17:00 AM

Well, after making me hit refresh on the computer screen too many times during the day (I didn't want to miss it) we crossed the $3,000 mark! That means we add physical Leeuwendaalders to every printed game! You're going to be so happy to have that when you play.

Josh Conrad was the backer that pushed us over the mark. Here is a blooper reel of videos where we tried to record a Thank You video for him. It wasn't easy. I'm exhausted. Also, I think I am allergic to snipes.

Awesome momentum! Show me the Lion Dollars!
about 7 years ago – Tue, May 02, 2017 at 09:24:30 PM

We surged past the $2,500 upgrade goal last night, so now all backers at the $25 level or higher will enjoy the premium card stock for a longer-lasting game! You folks are nothing but awesome!

The next stretch goal is the one I'm the most excited about (now, anyway) ... Show me the Leeuwendaalders! If we cross the $3,000 mark then every physical copy of the game will come with a sheet of 48 double-sided cardboard magical money, using the art that was used for the actual metal coins. Disburse this wizard pocket money among the players, so they may use it to procure magical items and favors in a variety of (completely ethical of course) ways.

We'd appreciate it if you shared your excitement about the project on social media. We are doing well in our first 24 hours, but it is the excitement of current backers that gets a project in front of the eyes of people who aren't familiar with it yet!

Just about $500 more, and we'll all be saying:

 Magical money, that is!

Whooo! Handouts are doubled, thicker cards in sight!
about 7 years ago – Mon, May 01, 2017 at 04:14:22 PM

Thanks to all backers for supporting and for sharing the project! Your reward gets better every time we level up!

The next goal is $2,500, which will allow us to increase the thickness of the cards so they'll be more durable and last longer. Sounds kinda boring, but it is nice to have, and does increase the production cost of each game.

We're really hoping for the $3k stretch goal, because then we get to add a sheet of Leeuwendaalders to the game. The tangible lion bucks really makes it easier to buy, sell, trade, and bribe for the potions ingredients or other items.

The Lion Dollars are the stretch goal! Let's add them to the game!
The Lion Dollars are the stretch goal! Let's add them to the game!

Also, I have some other surprises up my sleeve. Ashe Andrews-Preston has been doing some artwork for the Paths, and we'd love to add her art to the game. She's also volunteered to do some artwork commissions, so once we pass the Leeuwendaalder stretch goal, I'll be introducing those goals.

Thanks for making my day today, folks. I really needed the high-fives.

Funded! You did it in an hour!
about 7 years ago – Mon, May 01, 2017 at 11:11:55 AM

Thank you to our first backers who were patient with the delay of launch, and were quick to support! I am sincerely amazed by you all. This is a game from my heart, something fun that also might make us think about how we form ideas about what is good and bad. That you see my heart and want to make this grow makes my heart grow. <3

The first stretch goal gets us double the magical handouts -- even more fun things to add to the game or improved opportunities for roleplay. This includes Magic School Detention Bingo.

We hit the first stretch goal at $2,000, so everyone who has backed at the $25 level or higher will benefit from hitting that goal.

I really hope that we can spread the magic and make the Magimundi accessible to more people.

Thanks again for your amazing support! Onward!
