Thank you all for your tremendous support in this campaign! You've asked for an add-on side plot, and you'll get it!

In these final hours, the last bonus we'll add on is Kickstarter exclusive backstory around the 1632 Edict of Lycanthropic Reconsideration. How did lycanthropy come to the New World? What happened to lead to this Edict, one that predates the founding of New World Magischola by three years?

Backers of this campaign will find out.

In the home stretch! Side plot stretch goal within reach!

Hello fabulous supporters and backers!

There are only just about 48 hours left in this campaign, and we are closing in on the final stretch goal: a new side plot to add to the game! Something else is amiss during detention, and the intrepid mages trapped in the room must discover and solve it!

This added plot is optional: use it or don't when you play. It extends the game's replayability and offers a new angle in this complex magical world. 

We are definitely within reach of this goal: we just need about $650 more in pledges. 

At this point: all backers will receive the base game, plus all of these unlocked stretch goals:

• Double magical universe handouts
• Bag of cardboard Leeuwendaalders
• Premium cardstock
• House and path posters
• Illustrations
• Pre-generated professor/detention monitor characters

We're in the home stretch! If you know folks who have been sitting on the fence about supporting this game, let them know now is the time!

New Stretch Goals Announced!

Thanks to your awesome support, we met the 6 stretch goals we had initially outlined for the campaign. Everything from double the handouts, to adding House and Path posters, to adding physical leeuwendaalders to the game has been done! All backers will be getting even more value with their game!

As a result, we've added two more Stretch Goals: pre-generated professor/monitor characters (2) at $5,500 and an optional side-plot to be added to the game at $6,500. 

We're currently just under $5k and in the cursed middle of the campaign, where those who were enthusiastic at the get-go have pledged and those who wait until the final 48 or 24 hours are, well, waiting. 

We still have three weeks to go in the campaign, and every dollar pledged helps us make more games and projects that we hope you'll enjoy. This game started as a what-if, and it is really cool to be able to bring it to you. 

Thanks again for talking it up, sharing it, and backing. I don't get familial support for my creative endeavors (considered a waste of time and talent) so seeing you all excited about a brain-child really makes my heart soar.

Thanks to all the awesome supporters who backed the project and put us over the $4,000 mark!

If you'd like to add one of Ashe's drawings to your pledge, change your pledge to that reward, and then add the amount for the version of the game you want. 

 Potions labels are the next stretch goal! Included with the PDFs for printing and affixing to your bottles, they come in two sizes, small and large, and from two of the Magimundi's apothecaries: 

 Plus some other bonus labels for your ingredients! Those we're keeping a surprise :)

We crossed $3.5k! House Posters and Path Posters are Here!

Thanks to a couple of Deluxe Edition backers, we moved beyond the $3,500 stretch goal quickly! 

You know what really warms my heart though? The $5 backers. You're saying, I don't really need "the thing," but I really want to support you, Maury, and I want to see this thing from your brain get made and into the hands of people around the world. I think it's cool, and I'm behind you. Thank you so much, all of the lycanthropy researchers! 

Next stop is illustrations! I'm so excited to work with Ashe Andrews-Preston, a two-time NWM alumni and artist extraordinaire! I love Ashe's dynamic manga-inspired style, and the attitudes she gives to the characters!

Ashe has graciously offered to accept custom commissions from 5 lucky backers for artwork of your character in this style! She's donating the proceeds from these commissions to the project, and we are so thankful for her generosity! We've added the custom commissions reward tier to the project! 

Thanks for your help reaching the next stretch goal: adding Ashe's illustrations to the Path posters and other documents, as well as Lars Bundvad's crests.
